all services are private pay and considered "out of network
Although insurance is not accepted, itemized invoices which include ICD-10 and CPT codes are provided to families to submit to their insurance providers for out-of network reimbursement..
Do you take insurance?
All services are private pay and considered “out of network”. While we do not take insurance, Myo Speech Solutions will be considered an out-of-network provider. Payment is expected at the time of service via check, credit/debit card, or FSA/HSA card. After payment, a superbill (medical receipt) can be provided that you submit directly to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement using your out-of-network benefits. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network reimbursement for speech therapy. However, coverage will depend on your specific plan and may vary based on the specific diagnosis, so it is important for you to understand the details of your policy.
While we do not require a physician referral/prescription to begin services for private pay clients, your insurance may require one if you plan to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. It is recommended you contact your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network benefits and any requirements for reimbursement. It is your responsibility to know and understand your insurance benefits, but we will be happy to send you a guide with questions to ask your insurance provider to help you navigate this. Please email jessica@myospeechsolutions.com for more information.

My child receives speech therapy at school. Can we do private sessions too?
Yes! Many families choose to seek out a private speech-language patholgoist for additional support outside of school. Private therapy can offer the benefits of one-on-one attention and close parent involvement. In addition, some children with speech, language, or feeding issues may not qualify for school services if their difficulties do not have a clear educational impact in the school setting. We are always happy to collaborate with your child's school providers to ensure carry over of skills across settings.

What are the benefits of telepractice (online therapy)?
Telepractice or teletherapy is convenient and effective! It can be an easy way to fit a therapy session into your weekly schedule and has been shown to be just as effective as in-person speech therapy for many children. Teletherapy encourages family involvement, since you will be able to participate directly in each session. Online sessions are carried out in a very similar way to in-person sessions though we utilize many digital strategies to make these sessions fun and engaging. We have significant experience working with children via teletherapy and continue to see clients both in the US and the UK virtually. We love to tailor activities to your/child's particular interests in order to keep them highly engaged during online sessions!
